Colour Music Fest
I’m a big fan of outdoor music festivals such as Ultra Music Festival, Riptide Festival, and Electric Daisy Carnival. Music festivals allow attendees to not the opportunity to see their favorite artists perform live in an open air space, but also other attractions such as craft making, performance art, social activities, food and merchandise vending, and of course lots of dancing!
The Colour Music Festival is a two day festival with no onsite camping. The festival consists of multiple carnival rides, the biggest musical artists in Pop, Hip Hop, and Electronic Dance, and “Colour Zones” full of unique activities and photo ops. There are General and VIP admission options.

Sketches
I gathered inspiration from other music festival websites such as; EDC Las Vegas, Coachella, Riptide Festival, and The Color Run. In the beginning, I drew three different concepts for a generic music festival before committing to the Colour Music Fest idea.

Drive Ticket Sales
I created a sense of urgency to purchase a ticket by displaying the event date and the phrase "Don't Miss Out" in a heading banner, and also providing a countdown clock to visually represent the time is running out. Creating bold "Buy Now" buttons to entice the reader to purchase their ticket immediately.
Build Social Media Awareness
I added a photo gallery showcasing the fun and excitement of previous years' artists and entertainment, provided links to the Colour Music Fest's various social media sites, hashtag, and official account. The "View Gallery" button takes the reader to the festival's Instagram page where they can easily view and share more photos and information about the event.
